Naples, FL— Qorval, a business advisory firm that provides financial restructuring and management services across a broad array of industries, has today named two new directors according to James R. Malone, the firm’s founding managing partner.
Joining the company’s advisory corps are Michael T. Cantwell and John M. (Jack) Ryan. A seasoned financial executive with more than three decades of experience, Michael T. Cantwell has been directly involved in more than $5 billion worth of financing/refinancing transactions ranging in size from $1 million to $425 million. His chief financial officer and principal leadership positions are in sectors ranging from consumer products to high tech telecommunications.
Cantwell began his business career with Chrysler Corporation and he has served in significant management positions with a variety of companies including the Bendix Corporation, Exide Battery, Outboard Marine, and the Interlochen Group.
With a background that includes company, property, financial and operations management, John M. (Jack) Ryan has expertise in financing, refinancing and restructuring of both financial and real estate portfolios. Responsibilities have included managing more than five million square feet of commercial real estate and its associated business activities.
Ryan’s most recent senior management responsibilities included serving as president of the Atlanta Market Center, and chief financial officer for The Portman Companies. “Having these two experienced C-level executives join Qorval adds an additional depth and breadth of experience to the firm. We look forward to their active involvement on behalf of a variety of our clients,” said Malone.
Qorval, which was formed in 2003 and is based in Naples, FL, specializes in providing hands-on expertise to underperforming companies both domestic and international.
