Peter Cotton – Sales, Sales Management Recruitment, Building Sales Teams
Peter Cotton operates on the basic principle of “it takes one to know one.” An award-winning salesman and sales manager from a Fortune 500 company, Cotton has more than 44 years of experience in sales, sales management, and marketing. He also owned and operated the Rhode Island franchise of the world’s largest executive search firm for thirty-seven years, specializing in the search, recruitment, and placement of sales, sales management, and marketing talent. After moving to Massachusetts in 2014, Cotton rebranded under the name of Best Sales Talent, LLC, and continues to provide the same services. Capitalizing on his sales management experience, Cotton co-authored a book for the American Management Association: How To Be An Effective Sales Manager. Utilizing his sales and organizational management skills, while operating his recruiting business, Cotton became the Founder and President of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Rhode Island. The Rhode Island chapter was the 75th in the U.S. and was the fastest start-up in the charity’s national history. The Rhode Island chapter granted more than 1,000 wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses in less than ten years. Peter serves as a subject matter expert for Qorval in the area of developing a winning sales team, and restructuring, realigning, and recruiting for improved sales and sales management.
