John A. Pryor
John Pryor’s experiences have tested him in multiple private and public companies as an operator, consultant and CEO. He has extensive experience in creating and implementing worldwide sales and marketing strategies for some of the most recognizable names in the food service, medical and restaurant industries. With an emphasis on corporate-owned and franchised units, his expertise includes sales and marketing, expansion methods, mergers and acquisitions, and development of new business both in C-level management and consulting capacities. While his professional emphasis has been in sales and marketing, his experience includes broad management responsibilities—specifically in analysis and implementation of programs for an assembly/manufacturing operation that resulted in significant cost savings.

- Over twenty-five years experience in working with 18+ entities in the franchise and company owned food service, casual dining, and fast-food marketplace including: Subway, McDonald’s, Cousins Subs, Baskin Robbins, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and Cinnabon to name a few.
- Extensive vending operation experience, including commissary operations, in managerial positions at both Morrison’s Hospitality Group and Valley Innovative Services.

- As President of a QSR franchised restaurant chain, directed a financial turnaround, reduced the debt and brought in new banking relationships.

- Created national sales and marketing expansion plan for Morrison’s Restaurants resulting in an extraordinary decade of success as its contract division accelerated revenue growth from $100 million to $850 million.

Current/Recent Engagements:
- President and CEO of one of the country’s largest health aesthetic laser clinic systems with 180 offices in 26 states. Directed an initiative to locate a new owner and oversaw the ownership transfer to a new equity group without closing any clinics. Identified $6 million in cost savings over a five month engagement.
- Chief restructuring officer of a leading medical procedures franchise. Re-focused on consumer mindset and constructed a complete review that led to a new retail pricing model. Identified annual savings of $6 million. Reduced advertising spending from 22% of revenue to 17.5%. Revised a more equitable sales compensation plan that provides savings of $2.5 million on an annualized basis.
- As president and COO, engineered and executed major turnaround of privately-held Cousins Restaurant System franchise network. Navigating a complex revitalization of store design, restored profitability, reduced debt to zero and introduced a successful advertising/marketing program with spokesperson, Dan Patrick.
- As CEO of TiCommedical, led the development of a new SQL-Server, Web-based proprietary software that meets the most rigorous health care IT certifications. The newly created products bridge the gap of connecting old programming technology to match the government’s most recent edict of electronic health records for every citizen being shared across all provider networks by the year 2015.
- Valley Innovative Services, the nation’s largest provider of USDA senior nutrition meals, managed over 300 clients in contract healthcare, education, business and industry and business channels. Under his leadership as CEO, championed the acquisition of the food service contract at MCI/WorldCom’s new corporate headquarters, as well as Coca-Cola’s World headquarters in Atlanta.
